MEN'S MINISTRY

The CDOBC Men's Ministry is committed to providing opportunities for men to come together in a variety of settings to fellowship, enjoy each other's company, encourage each other, mentor each other, and most importantly, grow in the Word together. The guiding verse of the Men's Ministry has been and will continue to be Proverbs 27:17, "Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Please join us in sharpening each other in the Word, in fellowship, in mentoring and caring for each other.

Every second Saturday of the month, from 7:00-8:15 AM in rooms 1 & 2. This year's program is a video series by Joe Gibbs (3-time Super Bowl and NASCAR champion), "A Game Plan for Life," tackling the key areas of life a man needs in order to lead a victorious life. 

TUESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDIES

Every Thursday night in room 2, studying 1 & 2 Thessalonians. 

FRIDAY NIGHT FUN & FELLOWSHIP

Periodic opportunities for fun and fellowship for men and young men (under 18). Kickoff is Pizza and Comedy Night on 10/14/11. Cost is $3 for men and $1.50 for young men. 

MEN'S ANNUAL GOLF OUTING

Scheduled for 3/10/12.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

We occasionally have volunteer opportunities for service at the church or for church members who need assistance. These are usually publicized well in advance. 

MEN'S CONFERENCES OUTSIDE OUR MINISTRY

We frequently receive information regarding fellowship and learning opportunities outside of our church which fit in with our church goals and objectives. An example of this is the "Great Adventure Conference" which was hosted at Christ Community Church of Tucson October 1, 2011.
