Are you ever uncertain of the decisions you must make throughout your life? For many people, life has become a very confusing proposition. We have so many options before us in today's world that it's often difficult to know what decision is the right one...the best one. Add to that the breakdown of family and the transient nature of our lives, and we're often left alone to try and figure it all out--without the support and experience of our extended family! We're not alone. We have one another--and more importantly, we have God's Word to guide us. It guides us not only with truth, but also with wisdom. God didn't give us His wisdom in Scripture to fill greeting cards, but for us to apply to our daily life. In this series, we will uncover the greatest wisdom the world will ever know--the wisdom of God!

The Bible is full of fascinating people who lived thousands of years ago, but dealt with some of the same issues we deal with today.  Most of the people in Scripture were courageous in their life and faith, but not all of these people were good examples for us.  “Biblical Heroes & Zeros” is a sermon series that will help us learn about some of the “heroes” in Scripture that are not discussed very much but were faithful and God used them in some great ways.  We’ll also take a look at some of the “zeros” in Scripture – those who were not faithful and yet God has included them in the Bible for us to understand their mistakes and sins so that we don’t make the same decisions.  Over the next few months, I hope you will be encouraged and instructed by the lives of these fascinating people as we learn about the “heroes & zeros” in the Bible.
